Jetfire found himself wandering aimlessly around the garden, then paused, automatically kicking at the ruins of the bird-bath. His friends, what would they do without him, who would be taking his place as second in command? And he was never going to see any of his team, his friends again.

Sighing to himself, he moved away to start searching for a lake, a river, anything. Rad had said throwing stones into water was a good way to vent.

The lake is there, and Optimus is also there, standing on the end of the dock with her swords in her hands as the last light of her portal closes behind her. She doesn't notice that she isn't alone. Her mind is on the recent Danger Room simulation that she just left the two jets doing, and also on a confused young shuttle who is firmly convinced that she's a Decepticon commander.

"I know...." She pauses as her vocalizer staticks and clears her throat, then tries again, her voice coming out a little husky this time. "I know that doesn't make it feel much better to be away from your friends."

Gentle hands reach out and touch his shoulders, offering a hug.

Optimus looks at it too as she turns to go back to it. "Have I introduced myself?"

"Normally, I'd say yes. But I'm not Kimchee's favorite person, and I don't want to earn our medic's wrath by disturbing his patient." She starts across the room, pinging WakeJumper and letting him know she'd like a report when he had time.

One of those rooms must have once belonged to an above average in size student, because even now it has an above average in size bed. It also has a nice music system and a pretty nicely sized television along with all kinds of stuff to play on them. And the pictures on the walls are nice paintings of sky and clouds and sunsets.

Optimus chuckles too as she remembers a time her Jetfire's little Minicon fosterling had gotten into some of the human foods. Then she reaches into her storage compartment and pulls out what looks like an oversized Twinkie box and smells like energon. "Here, try one of these."

"I don't mind the flavor," she says frankly. "But the texture's another story. Ah well. Someone will like them."
