Jetfire found himself wandering aimlessly around the garden, then paused, automatically kicking at the ruins of the bird-bath. His friends, what would they do without him, who would be taking his place as second in command? And he was never going to see any of his team, his friends again.

Sighing to himself, he moved away to start searching for a lake, a river, anything. Rad had said throwing stones into water was a good way to vent.

Taken off-guard by the hug, Jetfire tensed for a second or two, then forced himself to relax with a quiet, almost inaudible mumble of "Thank you"

She nods and is silent for a moment, then says softly, as though to herself, "I miss my friends too. But I know they're going to be alright."

"Hope so" Jetfire replied quietly. Maybe changing the subject would help take his mind....off things "Who else wound up here?"

She steps back and glances at the water. "A mech named Perceptor and his friend Chromia, a young medic named WakeJumper, a flyer named Fallstreak, a little scrap of trouble named Kimchee, a big guy named Blacktop and a smaller guy named Sparkbit, a femme named Desinex. A Starscream. And a young shuttle who's convinced I'm a Decepticon commander."

Jetfire nodded, taking in each name for later, then his optics narrowed as one name, more familiar than the others, leapt out at him "Starscream?"

"Yes. Starscream." She tilts her head slightly. "He died fighting Unicron."

"Uh-huh and he wound up here too" Jetfire frowned, slowly folding his arms over his chest and raising an eyeridge, muttering "Thought Unicron was just a myth"

"Primus feels he belongs here." A light ball floats close and is batted away as she decides to leave the mutter unless he seems to want a reply.

"I guess meet and greets are in order if I'm stuck here" Jetfire replied after a few moments' pause.

She nods. "We'll be having one once everyone settles down a little more. But first I guess you need somewhere to stay?"

"Yeah, don't think I'm going anywhere, right" he nodded, half-turning to look at the mansion in the distance.
